Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Klopping and Christopher Crisostomo.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Michael and Christopher. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Both Chris and I grew up Djaying, scratching for House parties, small store events, Clubs, etc. as we grew up there was a time when we both stopped djaying to now take care of our new families and found Christ. We meet through our wives who knew each other in church and found out our music likes were exactly the same.
Our love for the art of turntablism and rocking a party were also exactly alike. We became friends and after slowly working again with music I started to do lots and lots of weddings. Chris being such a visionary keeps coming up and telling me to start a business with him. Finally, after some time, I came to realize he was right and we started Agape events & Lighting. Delivery service in all aspects all can trust and even believers can go to know how an event would be clean but still extraordinarily fun.
Has it been a smooth road?
Our biggest challenge would have been we have djayed for over decade and a half each and have had such feedback and success but never took that time to really brand ourselves. When we started Agape the name is in it beginning stages of its word of mouth and reputation but our years in the world of djaying and providing service is that of a true professional.
Please tell us about your work. What do you guys do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
Our business is two friends with years of DJ and event throwing experiences bringing The Light into our service. We aim to provide a service that is trusted and makes the client more at peace with their event and decision with hiring us. We are party rockers who play open format ( many many different genres ) keeping people on their toes and bringing them back to jams they forgot of and jams that just came out to provide a well-rounded event. We excel in music selection and crowd reading the event to adapt to what the guest are feeling at the moment and showing what they are missing.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love about San Diego is the atmosphere. The weather and the energy. What I dislike is the travel time from Inland empire to san Diego haha.
