Meet Michael Sangiolo of Sangiolo Images in La Jolla

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Sangiolo.

Michael, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a native of San Diego, I live in La Jolla, CA. I have been a photographer since the late 60s. My first love was shooting Surf Photography. When I was younger I could not afford the quality equipment needed to take my photography to the next level and raising a family was my main priority. I dove back into photography seriously in 2005. My passion is to shoot surfing, lifestyle, weddings, family photo sessions but mostly capturing unique landscape images.

I feel that I have unique style that sets him apart from many photographers in the business. I try to capture images that produces an image that is more of a work of art than a photograph. At the urging of many friends and family, I launched my business (Sangiolo Images). My business has grown tremendously due to the support of local families and local business that proudly display our quality images.

My Wife and I have been very active in giving back to the community by giving to many charitable organizations. We are very proud that our photography is loved and enjoyed by so many.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been a fairly smooth road. You try do your best and predict how to market your product and provide a Quality product that people will purchase.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Sangiolo Images story. Tell us more about the business.
Sangiolo Images is customer based company that sells Unique Quality Landscape images for homes, offices and business. We specialize in Fine Art Images that are very unique that are real life without layering in any additional artifacts in Post processing in Photoshop. I strive to provide a Unique Fine Art Image that brings beauty to my customer’s special space.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the Fine Art industry continuing to build as people want to improve their interior surroundings. I think that the cheap mass produced Art will be replaced by Quality Unique Images from a pool of many Talented Photographers where customers will gravitate to an artist that brings them the most joy.
