Hi Mike, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Mike Howard. I’m an Entrepreneur, speaker, and family man. Sales have always been a part of my life since I was growing up. My dad, Paul, has been an entrepreneur running multiple ventures for as long as I can remember. I worked in the fitness industry for most of my 20s, selling memberships and training programs for individuals.

It wasn’t until I was 27 or 28 that I got into Private Jet Charter sales. I worked for a corporate company, learning the ins and outs of the industry and, for the most part, the incorrect way to do things.

Fast forward to 2018, I came to my dad with a business plan and took my entrepreneurial mindset, combined with his experience and skill set, to go all in and launched Jetsetter Charter Jet Service, providing a service and company based on our core values and the correct way to run a business.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing worth anything is a smooth road. In my eyes, everything in life is sink or swim. Every day produces hurdles and obstacles to overcome, but with our team, we are solution-driven.

Nothing is ever perfect, but we have been on the positive side for the most part when any type of struggle or hurdle comes our way. The private aviation industry, like any other service industry, has its hurdles.

Whether it’s an aircraft maintenance issue or a crew issue, we have the team in place to provide a solution to any problem that comes our way.

I believe that taking risks is an inherent aspect of entrepreneurship; it’s about stepping outside of your comfort zone to pursue opportunities that have the potential for significant growth and success.

Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve encountered various instances where taking risks was necessary to propel my ventures forward. One major risk I took was when I decided to launch my own business, Jetsetter Charter Jet Service. It required significant financial investment, dedication, and a leap of faith into an industry I was passionate about but also understood to be highly competitive and challenging.
