Mimi , thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
I grew up in a single-mom household in the poor neighborhoods of Los Angeles, but was fortunate enough to have a mother who taught us hard work, purpose, and resilience. I have taken what my mom provided us and have created a fulfilled life. I work for the government and also founded Kawal Wellness to provide integrative wellness coaching and workshops in our community.
Please tell us more about your brand, Kawal Wellness
Kawal Wellness provides individual coaching, group workshops, and Reiki therapy in the San Diego area. My goal as a coach and practitioner is to heal limiting language and thought, heal broken spirit, heal self-inflicted barriers. As a coach and healer, I meet people where they are, walking alongside them on their wellness journey. This is the thing I’m most proud of.
Kemi Pavlocak and O’Shun’s Orchard have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Kemi and O’Shun’s Orchard and your experience with them.
I met Kemi a few years back and we connected immediately. She and her family’s commitment to lifting up a community that needed support and advocates attracted me to them and O’Shun’s Orchard. She and her husband Mike have made it their purpose and mission to bring services and economic stability to the rural area they serve. The thing I love the most about Kemi and O’Shun’s Orchard is their unrelenting dedication to do good with everything they touch. They have been through so many barriers these last few years and refuse to give up on their dream the the community they support.
Not only is Kemi an amazing business owner with high-quality products and services, she is an incredible mother, community advocate, military member, and friend. Her compassion for underserved communities is admirable and infectious. Her passion and actions drive others to join her in this mission.
