Meet Natasha Ganes and Jen Griffith of In the Life of Zen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Ganes and Jen Griffith.

Hi Natasha and Jen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We have been friends and occasional co-conspirators for many years, but it wasn’t until 2019 that we decided to join forces and combine our areas of expertise, which includes over 35 years of combined experience in health, wellness, and professional development.

Jennifer’s Story

At one point in time, my husband and I found ourselves with over $190,000 in debt due to credit cards, car loans, and a school loan; and realizing that our only way out was to create an intentional lifestyle. After paying off our debt and taking control of our lives, I created In the Life of Zen in 2017 as a platform to share inspiration, guidance, and practical tips to help others achieve financial freedom; juggle the demands of home, family, and careers; and fulfill their purpose without sacrificing their dreams.

In addition to pursuing my passions, I am the Vice President of Business Development for a healthcare media company, in an industry I have served in for over 23 years, specializing in organizational leadership, productivity, profitability, and leading top-performing teams. I now marry my knowledge of business with a love for achieving greatness in hopes of inspiring others to live their best life.

Natasha’s Story

I have worked in the wellness industry for over 15 years and believe that when people prioritize their spiritual, physical, and mental health, it leads to more balanced, happier living. I know that when we get their head, heart, and body in alignment, life becomes more enjoyable, and I love helping people learn how to get to that place. I am the co-founder of In the Life of Zen, a wellness consultant, certified stress management coach, published author, and guided meditation and EFT tapping practitioner who leads wellness workshops across the U.S. and Canada.

Stronger Together

When we combined forces in 2019, we expanded In the Life of Zen and created the Where Money Meets Soul podcast to share powerful tools and resources with others, so that they too can turn their desires into reality. Stress management, success, financial freedom, work/life balance, abundance—whatever you want to create in your life, you can have it and we can help you get there. Sometimes all it takes to achieve your goals is a tribe of people cheering you on and wanting you to succeed and we’re here to do just that.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Most of us have heard something like “do what you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life” and while there is some truth to that statement, doing what you love can still be hard work. We love following our passions and helping others, and most of the time our work fuels us with energy and happiness, however, that doesn’t diminish the fact that building a company is a lot of work. Entrepreneurship is hard. We invest a lot of time, effort, and resources; make sacrifices, and experience failure, i.e., not all our ideas or ventures work out the way we hope (and we know that will continue to happen).

Regardless of the challenges, the opportunity to help others makes our hard work and efforts worth every struggle. There’s nothing better than receiving an email, direct message, or phone call from someone to thank us for something we offered that helped them make positive progress in their life. Or talking to someone after a presentation or workshop who is so excited, they can’t stop thanking you. That’s the good stuff, right there. Ultimately, doing what we love feels amazing, and helping others is extremely satisfying—and that makes us realize that we are living our purpose and on the road to success.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our mission is to inspire others by providing resources that focus on three key areas: 1) money, 2) wellness, and 3) purpose. In each of these areas, we offer affirmations/mantras, EFT tapping sessions, guided meditations, workbooks, and tips sheets to help others prioritize their mind, body, and spirit—in other words, their mental, physical, spiritual, AND financial health. The financial aspect is one of the biggest things that sets us apart from others because we strongly believe that a person’s financial health plays a significant role in their life. Having a healthy relationship with money is vital to a person’s overall well-being. The powerful tools we offer encourage a positive lifestyle and mindset, help others understand their relationship with money, and allows them to achieve a state of Zen.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to us is helping others succeed in business and life. Whatever “success” means to them our goal is to help them get there. Our ultimate mission is to empower millions of people to prioritize their mental, physical, spiritual, and financial health.
