Hi Nathalia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Looksbyalia was established in 2018, after receiving my esthetician license and working from home for a year, I eventually grew my business into a successful studio located in Salon Republic in North County Mall.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a business owner always has its pros & cons. I enjoy having a flexible schedule and working for my own, but of course, this also comes with the stress and anxiety of keeping the business afloat. Ever since covid happened and with the recent rise of inflation it’s been difficult to keep up with business expenses and rent. But somehow it always works out at the end, and things eventually pick up. It’s definitely a rollercoaster ride of emotions every day.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a master licensed esthetician, and I specialize in lash extensions for 6 years now. I am known for my skills in different lash styles for all ethnicities and my very luxurious services. I take pride in my clients’ self-care days and their investments in themselves.
What makes you happy?
Becoming a mom! I am expecting my first baby this August 2023, and even though the mental battle has been tough, and some days are hard to continue working. Knowing that I am creating life is such a magical feeling. The first time I ever got interviewed for SD voyager in 2019 I was actually going through my miscarriages, and what beautiful journey it has been to finally see the end of the rainbow. I’ve grown so much through the years mentally and I’m very happy to dive into this journey in my life.
