Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan Resnick.
Nathan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My journey starts in 2010 when I was a foreign exchange student in China, living with a host family and attending a local Chinese high school. That year, I became fascinated by how products are manufactured. The next year I started selling imported products online via eBay and Amazon. As my eCommerce brands grew, I realized how hard it was for companies to find the right factories to work with. That’s when I had the concept for Sourcify, which I officially launched in June of 2017. Flash forward to today and we have offices in China, Vietnam, Pakistan, India, and San Diego, helping hundreds of companies produce products around the world.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Growing a company always has a unique set of challenges. For us, some of the hardest parts have been raising money, growing with an international team, and working with factories around the world.
Please tell us about your company.
Sourcify is the fastest growing sourcing platform backed by YCombinator that helps hundreds of companies manufacture products around the world. We are known for working with high growth companies in the eCommerce world to improve their supply chain. As a company, we’re most proud of the culture we’ve built and win, win situation we create between factories and our customers.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Mountain biking camp at Calleva back in Maryland where I grew up.
