Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Turner.
Nicole, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I came to Eco Chateau as a client because I was trying to reset my body. I was in a bad car accident in August 2012 that resulted in spine and nerve damage and a lot of pain. I spent over a year in physical therapy and was looking into alternative therapies so that I could get off of all my medications while still being able to manage my pain. I did the 21-day detox and was able to rid my body of the residual medications, as well as be the most relaxed and pain free I had been since my accident. I then started reaching out the former owner, Christine, every month to offer my help since my background is in Operations and Management Consulting. She was trying to do most of it herself at the time, but finally accepted six months later. I love that I get to pay it forward and help other clients on their wellness journeys.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Growing a business is always a challenge, but an exciting one. We have reached many milestones as a team and it’s a direct reflection of the passion, love and dedication of the people that comprise Eco Chateau. It’s not always easy, but seeing the direct impact we have on people’s lives makes the tough days worth it.
Please tell us about Eco Chateau.
Eco Chateau seeks to provide a restive respite from a busy and active world. Providing traditional services and innovative treatments in a luxurious spa setting. Utilizing sustainable business practices in pursuit of premier services. We make the promise to:

We aspire to sustain while remaining sustainable. To create a conscious community of like-minded individuals who actively support each other’s journey towards wellness. A spa dedicated to rejuvenation of ourselves, our community, and our world.
One of the things we are most proud of is our TLC for the Big C program. We donate our Monthly Wellness Membership to individuals battling cancer during their months of chemotherapy/treatment. We know how tough and scary it can be to have to battle that “Big C” and love that we can help be part of their wellness journey. We currently have 6 people in the program!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I think that where you are in life and business is a direct reflection of where you came from and what you have gone through, so I think our current success is a direct result of the struggles we have had.
As an operations-minded person, there are processes I wish we could perfect (laundry and supplies at the top of that list!), but I realize that the nature of our business means the needs of the spa are ever-changing.
Sometimes being a “hidden gem” means that people do not know we exist. Both of our locations are in business parks and while they are luxurious and warm on the inside, people tend to find out about us through word of mouth or Yelp, not by walking or driving by.
