Today we’d like to introduce you to Olga Melnikova.
Olga, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was born in Russia and came to the United States in 2007 to study abroad. After receiving my MBA from the University of Redlands, I quickly realized I wanted to be an entrepreneur and run my own business. With a passion to help others, becoming a Realtor was a natural choice and success soon followed.
I am dedicated to working hard, building relationships, and helping each of her clients along the path towards homeownership or sell their house for top dollar. I have worn many hats in the business world from personal assistant to business owner which gives me the flexibility and experience to work through various scenarios.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve had lots of struggles along the way. As an immigrant, I had to go through some rocky roads, but it made me stronger. This country made me who I am today. I always knew that I want to have my own business. When I started my MBA program, I was the youngest in the class. At the very first class professor was asking each student what do you expect from this program, my answer was: I do not want to work for anyone, I want to work for myself. It has been a long path to achieve my goals, but there are more to go!
Please tell us about your work.
I am a realtor at Keller Williams San Diego Metro an organization comprised of leaders and innovators in the real estate industry. They stand out in today’s marketplace by utilizing technological tools that make the home buying and selling process easy for you, the client. I work with home sellers, first time home buyers and investors. My aggressive marketing platforms and strategies will exceed your expectations when you choose to work with me.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Spending summers at my grandparent’s house in the country side.
