Thanks for sharing your story with us Orange. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I was trapped for years and was really getting over the lifestyle. The money was cool, but going in and out of jail six times a year was getting old. So one day in 2015 I was having a bunch of house parties, and some upcoming rappers from LA came through. They came to turn up, but we ended up rapping.
And I wasn’t half bad, that’s the first time I was invited to a studio session. I started recording music for fun, but my first song got 5k plays, that’s when I started realizing I might be able to keep doing this and make a living. I forgot about everything else, I then dropped everything my life was built around and completely remodeled it. I ate, drank, and breathed music.
Everything I do is for my career. I erased my social life among many other things in order to succeed. I’ve always believed your wasting your time in life if you don’t push for everything at 115% so here I am four years later working 18 hours a day on my career, and Succeeding!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
HELLL NAWL! This has been the single most difficult journey of my life, and I’ve really been through some SHIT! I was in a Mormon concentration camp, in an out of jail, homeless and starving at 12 years old, I’ve really been through it all.
But this music shit is vicious — 99 % of the rap game crusty asf. No one is actually interested in working and succeeding. No one is investing in themselves and their success. Everyone just wants handouts.
Everyone wants to be an overnight millionaire. It doesn’t really work like that, u gotta put those hours in, ask just about Anyone in the game.
Please tell us more about your work.
I am not like any other artist or company in the game right now. I am a rapper, manager, and product ambassador, I am a social media influencer, a director, and entrepreneur. And everything I do succeeds. My music career has been moving forward continuously for years now.
All the artists I manage go up thousands of real fans every month, the products I promote sell, and the shows I perform at sell out. Everything I touch succeeds and that’s due to a very simple formula anyone can recreate. I infiltrate algorithms and bend them to work for me. My biggest pride in my business is my empathy.
I have some of the most genuine work ethics you will encounter in this industry. I’m ALWAYS trying to help people succeed in whatever they do. I actually take the time to talk to my people: fans, clients, and anyone else who wants to talk. I don’t move or act like these Hollywood ass rappers. And that will NEVER change.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have taken my time in the begging. I was always looking to blow up or get rich overnight. I was never really concerned with longevity. If I would have slowed my roll and worked silently behind the scenes, I believe I would be a lot further in my plan.
It took me months to go back and patch the holes in my foundation. I also wasted hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars on stupid bullshit like rental cars and “friends” if I could take that money back and invest it into my business I would be bigger than a lil pump.
But back then, I was seeing so much money so quick I didn’t care about wasting it on stupid shit and fake friends. Now that I’m a little wiser I really regret spending so much time and money on things I no longer have.
