Meet Paging the 90s

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paging the 90s.

Paging the 90s, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Did your high school guidance counselor help you determine what to do with the rest of your life? We ignored him. Are you afraid your friends and family judge your weekend activities? Not us. Do you ever have to remind yourself that 1990 was 30 YEARS AGO??? Us neither! Paging the 90s embodies what everyone that moves to sunny San Diego is seeking – a party whose sole focus is the music of our youth between 1990 and 1999. Our team is comprised of some of San Diego’s best live musicians who put the live performances on the top of the priority list. No albums. No record labels. Just 3+ hours on stage living our best 90s life!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Our drummer has a crippling addiction to fun dip. Our bass player can’t sleep without his custom 5 string in bed with him. The rest of the band met on an internet forum for people who love the original “007 GoldenEye” video game on Nintendo 64. Would some people call these obstacles? Maybe. Do our friends and fans know what they’re getting whenever we play a show? You bet they do. Fun. 100% pure fun.

Please tell us about your music.
Paging the 90s plays private events, festivals, and all of your favorite music venues. Come check us out! We rock out to grunge, get jiggy to only the best 90s hip hop, and pump out boy bands hits like they’re going out of style…..which they aren’t. Unbridled energy, industrial strength moisturizer and a fear of growing up keep us ready for packed shows all over Southern California and beyond!

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
The entire cast of “Family Matters” deserves credit for keeping us grounded in our morals through family friendly 90s comedy. Without them, we would have had to eat our chicken tenders silently waiting for “Full House” to begin.
