So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started working for another DJ company when I was in my 20’s. The owner was nice, but not very organized and would send me to weddings with the wrong first dance song or Christmas parties with no Christmas music. I decided to start my own business with the encouragement of another DJ.
I always wanted to be on stage. LOL!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
MP3’s are my savior and the bane of my existence at the same time. It has dramatically affected how I do business. The recession was also quite a challenge.

I am an owner-operated DJ company. I tried using employees, but it was too hard to find people that cared. I do it all myself. I have great reviews and do my best to make people happy.
