Hi Presley, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, my name is Presley King. I have always had a love for dressing up and being creative in general. But once I got to high school, I tried out a basic fashion class, learned how to operate a sewing machine, and learned to sew simple pieces of clothes.
I have found love in creating clothing ever since then and have taught myself the rest of what I know today. Today, I am very proud to have my own Etsy business, which is all sustainable clothing I make.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Starting a new business definitely has its struggles in navigating how to operate.
I had to figure out how I wanted my site to look and all things shipping, which took some time. But the creative aspects are where I do best. I also have years of customer service experience, which has helped as well.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets my clothing apart from others is I make my pieces from 100% organic materials.
No synthetic materials; all are either organic cotton, hemp, or linen. I am super passionate about my all-natural clothing line and will be producing some new pieces this summer!
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I believe if you’re happy doing what you love, you will be successful.
