Meet Rob Logic of The Bancroft Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Logic.

Rob Logic, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Even though I don’t have any experience, I’ve always wanted to run a bar and venue when I saw this opportunity I jumped on it.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Lack of experience lent itself to a few of the mistakes I’ve made to make things a little rougher than they should have been but overall things have been pretty easy. We try to create a comfortable environment here and it shows. I guess you could say the truck driving through the bar made things a little rougher https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/Vehicle-Drives-Into-Bar-in-Spring-Valley-420690543.html

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We’re a bar/venue that specializes in showcases for local and touring original musicians. we’ve had some ‘bigger’ bands come through as well as some amazing ones just starting out. As a bar, we focus on basic alcohol drinks and try to keep our beer list varied. we’re in the process of expanding our draft selection from 6 to 20 and we usually keep about 30 different bottles in stock.

What were you like growing up?
Love music and beer. This seemed like a natural fit.
