Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Spencer.
Rob, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
In the early/mid-90s, I was involved in a car accident that left me beaten up physically and without a memory from birth up to the accident. The process of moving on in life sent me in the direction of desiring to help the lost find truth. From MMA to locating and extracting runaways from some pretty ugly situations, I’ve finally come to a place where help the lost be found wasn’t enough. I needed more.
That lead me to helping others connect with nature. There’s a since of belonging and peace there that heals. So, outdoorsman to blogger, I now spend my time helping others connect to nature for what I consider to be outdoor therapy. There’s a much bigger process sure, but simply put… it is impossible not to find the creator in creation when one searches for answers.
Has it been a smooth road?
The first few years of this decision kept me pretty busy. I need to develop the ideas out, find my voice, and create a big-enough audience to make waves in the industry took all day every day without letting up. I didn’t want an ad beard format, I didn’t want to sell anything, I simply want to help people find the peace and since of purpose we has humans crave, but realistically that takes money! So, a series of fundraisers for the charity and contention creation side work is how I built our brand and paid for the work the we do.
We’d love to hear more about your organization.
We are a licensed 501c3 in the state of California. Our mission is to help educate and empower people to become better. We do that through outdoor therapy, local community projects and creating entertaining, positive content to inspire.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes. All of California is an outdoor playground and is a place where healthy living is a priority for a lot of people. That starting point allows an understanding and appreciation of what we do.
