Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Szentes.
Robert, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Most of my life I was a happy go lucky kind of guy. I lived a normal life, I had many friends, I went to school, I partied and traveled also. From the age of 18, I held responsible jobs, store salesman, then as an electrical technician, and after my undergrad as an electrical engineer. Despite the good paychecks and the seemingly fun lifestyle, deep down I had a lot of pain and strong waves of anxiety and depression that would periodically hit me seemingly out of nowhere.
My romantic relationships were very challenging for me because I did not understand the first thing about them…other than what I saw at home in Hungary and I unconsciously modeled my parents’ divorces, fights and behaviors in my own marriages. Both of my marriages ended up in divorce and I lost my young daughter as her mom moved across the US and I could not see her. This had dire consequences both for my daughter as well for me, but we did not know any better. We were following our own path, the path that we thought was random and unpredictable. I went to therapy and several doctors for 25 years, but nothing seemed to help.
My daughter ended up with severe depression and anxiety by the age of 14 and she was on medication which did not help much. As if this was not enough, I ended up with a stroke at the age of 42, which seemed odd because I was fit and healthy. I went through a series of excruciatingly painful examinations; I cried and could barely grasp how quickly I went from a high-profile career to a vegetable overnight.
My neurologist wanted to operate on me, but fortunately, I refused. My engineering brain kicked in because I knew deep down that there was more to this story than just the surgery.
A friend recommended an alternate approach and since I lost everything, I had nothing else to lose and I gave this approach a shot. The coaches I hired worked with my unconscious mind and much to my surprise just a few sessions later, my life started to come back, my body started to wake up and my entire attitude began to shift to a more positive and energized one.
I was so intrigued by this whole process; I began to learn it. I was on disability at the time, and when I went back to work I did not have the energy to endure a full 8-10-hour workload at my job, and a few weeks after my return, I was completely burned out. I could not do this intense thinking and bare the daily responsibilities and I literally tossed my job, my security and my years of building a career out the window and I quit my job to preserve the little mental health I had left.
I had emptied my savings account and I spent over $200,000 on mentors and coaches to teach me about the unconscious world, the domain of the mind and also to help me rebuild my life, regain my health and mental wellness.
Other people noticed how well I was doing, and they were inspired by my example and they also asked for help. I started helping and coaching men and women, first for free and through my new client experiences, I learned more and more about the amazing logic of the human mind. Through my own healing and transformation, as well as my client experiences, I was able also to draw my own conclusions and started to see very clearly how different unconscious thinking patterns influenced the lives and the livelihood of people.
A lot of these thinking patterns were repeating across the board and I realized that the majority of people suffer from the same problems I once did.
People were asking me to teach them what I knew, and I started teaching workshops, meetups in 2011. I also created my first live 16-day seminar, where I shared the amazing secrets of the human mind. The focus was to help people gain confidence, to be able to become heart-based entrepreneurs and also to create healthy relationships.
After I felt confident in my new abilities and had several hundred successful transformational stories, I wrote a book about the most common and also the nastiest and most problematic beliefs and beliefs systems that people’s mind holds. This book became an Amazon bestseller in early 2015.
I have been studying nonstop and as I continued to evolve and overcome more and more problems, today I feel younger, healthier and more vital than ever before. I am finally in a loving and harmonious relationship that I have always wanted, but I kept sabotaging due to my unhealed self.
The challenges I once had became the biggest gift and today I feel it is my purpose to help other men up and liberate them from generations of insecurities, fears and mental garbage that has weighed down humankind for so long.
Two of my former mentees are now working with me helping other young men achieve unshakable confidence, emotional maturity, so they can become irresistible and magnetic men ready to step into their purpose to make an impact in the world.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle has been to realize that I cannot help everyone, even though they need help and I am equipped to help them. But instead, most people choose the path of misery and self-destruction.
Their current state of consciousness and their low self-esteem does not allow them to take the next step forward.
It was painful for me to learn that so many people are chronically attached to their suffering, so I had to shift my focus to the ones that I can save and help, the ones that are ready to have a meaningful and good life!
Please tell us more about your work
In the past ten years, I have helped many people overcome severe emotional trauma, PTSD, severe health issues, extreme anxiety and panic attacks, depression and burnout, in just a few weeks. Most of them have been trying countless things unsuccessfully for years.
In the process, I found my passion and purpose which is to help younger men become confident, secure, prosperous and ultimately become the “Full Package Man” who is successful on every level, who is emotionally available and mature and has a loving relationship. They become heart-based, modern-day entrepreneurs who strive to make an impact in the world.
We believe in empowering our students and VIP Personal Coaching Clients with leading-edge transformation and world-class support that continues beyond the programs and the coaching packages, offering them a lifetime value.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
The conversations with my stepdad were life-changing for me because he always encouraged me to dream big and look beyond what other people thought was possible. He taught me that if I do the same things as them, I cannot expect different results.
At the time in Hungary, where I was growing up, we were still under the Russian, communist regime, and my dad suggested to find a way to explore the world and go towards my bigger dreams.
He traveled a lot, which was not possible for the average person in Hungary at that time. Whenever he traveled, I always waited for him to come back with some amazing gifts and toys that we could not find in Hungary. I loved to look at the pictures he took and the stories he told.
Through his courage and actions, he helped me become a possibility minded person, which is one of the many gifts I can now return to the young men I work with today.
