Rock, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Back in 2018, I was working corporate in biotech up in the La Jolla area and it was really draining the life out of me. I realized I had many diverse skills and there was a better, more efficient way to create work product. So I started soEasie.com and have been able to create a truly unique application of economics that helps both specialists in our network and our broad clientele.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a lot of risk (had to leave my job and dip into savings when I started it) and tons of ups and down psychologically. It has been a lot of surrounding myself with great mentors and friends that can give me real advice and not just tell me I am awesome.
I struggled a lot with being so busy and having to sacrifice spending time with loved ones to work on things. On making decisions to put 100% of myself into this project has been intense to say the least.
