Meet Rosie Mariano of Myhairbyrosie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosie Mariano.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
A Hairstylist’s Journey from Struggle to Success

I’ve been doing hair since 2011. At just 19, I became a licensed stylist, a first-time mom, and a young wife. My husband and I struggled a lot in those early years. We were young, broke, and carrying more responsibilities than we knew how to handle. We didn’t even know how to ask for help. Watching him work so hard to find a good job inspired me to face my fears and find out what I was truly capable of.

Those years were far from easy. My life became a constant balancing act working to provide for my children while wishing I could be fully present for their milestones, school events, and bedtime stories.

Like many young mothers, I faced financial hardships and emotional burnouts, stress, exhaustion, self-doubt. We bounced between jobs, always trying to make ends meet, But deep down, I never let go of the dream that someday, I would create something of my own. A place where I could grow, heal, and give others the same.

In 2020, when the world slowed down during COVID, I chose to move forward and opened a small salon suite with nothing but faith and determination. And three years later, I took the biggest leap of all, I opened my own salon.

I don’t just run a salon I’ve created a space filled with warmth, laughter, connection, and love. My clients walk in for a service, but often leave with a lighter heart. In that chair, we share stories, tears, dreams, and so many moments that remind me why I do what I do.

I’m not just a hairstylist. I’m their confidant, their cheerleader, sometimes even their therapist. And in those sacred moments, I share my story with them my journey through struggle, growth, and perseverance to remind them that they’re not alone.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think this career would bring me so much fulfillment, purpose, and connections. Over the years, my clients have become family. The love and trust built behind the chair are ones I’ll cherish forever.

Today, I’m the proud mother of three beautiful children who inspire me every single day. Balancing motherhood and running a business hasn’t always been easy, but it’s shaped who I am.
If there’s one thing I hope people take from my journey, it’s this: no matter how dark your beginning feels,You can overcome anything. I am living proof. I went from barely making it to building a life and a business my children can be proud of.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

I moved from one place to another barbershops, salons, booth rent, commission always hoping the next spot would finally feel right. But no matter where I landed, something was missing. I started to question if I even belonged in this industry. It wasn’t until I stopped chasing the ‘perfect salon’ and started trusting myself that everything shifted. I created my own space one that feels like home, not just for me, but for the people who walk through my door.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Myhairbyrosie ?
I specialize in redheads, platinum blondes, all types of bleach services, and color corrections.

What makes me different is that I take my time to give you the color you’re looking for. I don’t rush through my clients I make sure you feel comfortable and at ease, even if it means spending the whole day with me at the salon.

I work with all types of professional brands and products. I’m always open to trying new techniques and exploring new formulas because in this industry, there’s always something new to learn and master.

What’s next?
In the future, I’d love to grow even more. My dream is to one day open a beauty school that I can run, own a larger salon, and have my kids working alongside me.
