Meet Sage Sarno of Sage Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sage Sarno.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Sage. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
What really inspired the overall concept that became Sage Productions was when I worked for a high-end production company in Northern New Jersey. Although the company & team were amazing to work with, their price point was a lot higher than the average person could afford. I really enjoyed making people happy & wanted to share that feeling with everyone. At Sage Productions we look at money as a byproduct of doing a great job rather than the goal. We strongly believe that every event is equally important regardless of size or stature. Everyone deserves to put their worries aside for a little while and just have a good time. By making fiscally responsible business decisions we were able to offer the very best prices without sacrificing quality. We just had our 15th anniversary in July of 2016!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any business has its ups & downs but we really can’t complain. It’s been an amazing journey & we have met some great people.

Please tell us about Sage Productions.
Sage Productions believes in spreading happiness & creating long lasting memories through unique, incredible experiences. We are so grateful to have our music become the soundtrack to over 500 events each year. Our team of experienced DJ’s, Coordinators, & Photo Booth Technicians are continually trained on new methods, techniques & technologies. We take pride in what we do & are the absolute best in the business as reflected in our many reviews from delighted clients. I think the variable that makes our events unique is our relationship with clients & our ability to listen to what they want instead of giving them an assembly line experience. We believe in complete transparency & honesty which in turn earns their trust very quickly. Our relationship with clients is so strong that we can advise them on potential obstacles & offer solutions without compromising their overall vision for the event. The result is an ability to fully understand their expectations & contribute to the big picture instead of using the same “formula” for every event.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I started DJ’ing at a very early age. My cousin was a nightclub DJ in NY. I used to take the train out to his events & help him carry crates of records in the club for $10. Then he would send me home because I wasn’t old enough to stay.
