Today we’d like to introduce you to Seton Edgerton.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Seton. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Have been involved in the San Diego music scene for about ten years now. In a variety of different bands and projects, biggest highlight having been my previous band Barbarian open for Arctic Monkeys at Open Air Theatre at my alma mater SDSU. Now working on a new project, Well Well Well with former members of Barbarian. Recording in Los Angeles with experimental indie group Gardens & Villa. In the middle of recording our next series on songs throughout numerous state and national parks mostly around California at cabins, AirBnb’s, warehouses. So far, we have recorded in Idyllwild, Palomar Mountain, and Joshua Tree. California Parks Service Recording Sessions. I also play in local bands Bruin and Spooky Cigarette.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Trying to make your way through life as a musician poses one of the bigger challenges for a number of reasons. One being music is completely subjective but also there’s a very small window where you can grant yourself a financial success and make it by creating music, especially experimental avant-garde music not marketed towards the masses. The struggle is part of the fun and if anything challenges me more to test the limits of what’s possible.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Well Well Well – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Well Well Well is the most fun weird band you might not ever hear. Easy listening for the uneasy person.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Recording in more state and national parks this year. We’ve been recording about a week every month in a different location and plan on keeping that momentum up. Setting up a couple more tours for the year as well as a number of new releases.
