Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Zarzosa.
Sharon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started working in sales when I was 18 years old and was very shy in the business world. I had to let people get to know me. I love making people laugh and have a dark sense of humor. It was tough at first but I loved the constant challenge. It still is what drives me today.
Being a business owner and investor requires me to pull knowledge I have acquired through years of working in sales and pushing through difficult situations. It really grew a drive inside me to build a solid future for myself and also the passion to help other people. I believe you will never regret treating everyone with respect and a genuine smile.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are many stereotypes and a complete lack of support I’ve faced as a Latina woman. I’ve reached out to mentors that were very vague and unwilling to give real advice. I had people who said they would partner and pulled out last minute. I had to learn to carry a superhero mindset.
The inner urge to fulfill my goals has driven me to look past the hate and believe in myself. I had to put in the overtime hours to save my own capital and become my own investor. Has it been smooth? Definitely not. Has it been worth it? Absolutely!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about West Coast Registration Services – what should we know?
My company is West Coast Registration Services. We register autos, boats, motorcycles and anything legally required to be registered in the state of California with the Department of Motor vehicles. As a company, I am most proud of opening with an awareness of my community and the city I was raised in. We can give customers satisfaction of working with a company that gives back to the community.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Definitely, my grandmother has been my number one motivation. She taught me the value of hard work and to be disciplined.
