Thanks for sharing your story with us Shelley. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I can hear flowers. They speak with a language of vibrations. They have taught me how to incredibly, comfortably be more me.
My favorite part of a flower is the bud right before it blooms. I love the feeling of all of its potential. A complex world inside ready to open up to the world. I love the softness of opening, the invitation that follows attracting insects to collect their pollen and spread to others. An invitation for connection. To feel a feeling unfelt. To discover a knowing unknown. A deeper connection.
We have everything we need already inside us. Just as in cooking, the alchemy of life is for us to warm up and soften to open, connecting it all together to create the perfect flavor. The flavor of us. To be able to celebrate each one of us in our own unique vibration. We are here to matter. We each bring to the alchemy of earth, an integral ingredient of the universe.
I live on my flower farm. I love cooking, my garden, reading and spending time with my family. I was born and raised in Ohio, the heart of it all. I love living in California because there are flowers blooming all year round.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
All the struggles I have experienced in my life have woken me up. Last year, we were in the Lilac wildfire and I had a severe allergic reaction to poison oak. Both felt life-threatening at the moment. Many of the homes on our street burned down and ours did not. It brought us profound grace and gratitude. I am inspired to get my Collection out into the world because it survived the fire.
The poison oak has been one of my greatest plant teachers, as it reminded me not to react to life but to feel it and connect. Every obstacle points us in the right direction. Every challenge brings us wisdom to grow and evolve into what we are capable of. To wake us up. It just comes down to how we perceive it.

I am a mother and a visionary. A sister, friend, and wife. I am a medicine woman. My passion is to support you into the lightness of being you. I have been a Holistic Health Practitioner since 1998, using movement (Pilates & Yoga), Craniosacral Therapy/Somatic Emotional Release and Whole Food Body type nutrition to inspire optimal health. What has developed over the years is Heartbeat Groove Alchemy: A curious collection of Flower Essences, Anointing Oil Accords, and Botanical Perfumes that inspire you to look within to embody all your greatness.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I would do nothing differently. My life is supposed to be like this. It is what my soul signed up to experience. All of my mistakes and hardships have given me the vastness to be where I am. If I had not always loved my body, I would not be able to teach others how to fall in love with themselves. If I had not disconnected from my intuition and my gifts as a teen, then I would not know how to reconnect and use my gifts and teach others. If I had not gone through everything I have gone through, I would not have the understanding to create what I have created. I see that my journey has a course. It is perfectly imperfect, as in nature. The theme to my life lessons is to listen. Listen to my inner knowing. Listen to my body. Listen to my soul. Listen to the moment. Listen to others, beyond what they say. Listen to the flowers. Listen to the future.
