Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m a photographer with over ten years of experience, specializing in family photography and high school senior photos, and Product photography. A few years ago, I went back to school to learn about social media marketing for my business which quickly led me down an entrepreneurial path that is now coming true through Thrive Media. Marketing and Social Media were something that interested me personally with my photography business and as well as sharing knowledge and helping other small businesses grow their brands/business on social media platforms.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it’s never smooth sailing when you start a new business. At first, it might seem to not be going as planned. You have to push through those obstacles, be patient with yourself (because there will always come times where we want to give up), but then you remember why you started this journey in the first place. You’re going to have good days and bad days where all hope seems lost until finally, one thing goes right -and it gives us a newfound energy boost! Just stay the course and keep showing up. Consistency is KEY, and remember to give yourself grace. If you’re passionate about something, it will be easy to do both of those things and you’ll be on your way to success.
