Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana.
Tatiana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a San Diego Native. Born and raised. I spent my early childhood growing up in Chula Vista and finished the rest of my adolescent years in Spring Valley. I began reading Tarot and Oracle cards roughly six years ago in 2014. My spiritual journey began with me diving deeper into myself. I connected with spirit through tarot and it helped me shift my life in becoming more self-aware.
I was able to help friends and family by offering them tarot readings as well. After seeing how much of a positive influence it had on them, I was inspired to offer it to everyone. I now have a spiritual-based business where I am able to offer guidance in a unique way. I have clients all over the United States as well as out of the country. I am excited to have come thus far on my journey and I am looking forward to my growth in this business.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a smooth journey for the most part, but like anything, it has definitely had its challenges. I have had moments when I didn’t know if I wanted to continue down this path. The elders in my family was/is not very supportive of my business, but I understand that it’s hard to support something you don’t understand. I have struggled with figuring out how to offer my services to the public, but I have learned that word of mouth and social media is the best advertisement. Patience and Persistence are two major keys to unlocking doors and opportunities in any career field, and it definitely has gotten me through doors I was unsure I’d be able to walk through in mine.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am my business. My business is a spiritual based business and I am a spiritual being. My services include tarot readings, spiritual advisory sessions, as well as Reiki sessions. I am most known and recognized for my monthly TarotScopes I offer on my Instagram page @thedopehealer_. These have gotten a lot of shares and recognition over this past year.
I am most proud of my ability to touch so many people and to have been a light onto them when they have been in a dark place. I believe people are mirrors so as I’ve been able to be a light onto them these very people have been a light onto me. I am so grateful for the experience and exchanges I’ve had. I feel what sets me apart from other tarot readers is that I am 100 percent myself. By being myself there is no other reader like me. I am one of a kind. We may offer similar services but the message is always going to be unique and delivered differently based on who one is as a person.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love San Diego. My only dislike is that there are not very many metaphysical stores. I feel we could use more in the city.
