Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Larison.
Hi Taylor, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I first started off working for digidogphoto when I was 19 years old. Worked side-by-side with my boss for eight years before I took over the business and he went back into radio. When I took over the business, I knew we were losing a lot of customers so I changed the name to photo video services to capture more clientele.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s taking me several years to say that things are successful and the road is smooth. Road to have a successful business is never smooth. You’re always gonna come across potholes.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
When I was 18 years old, I started a media company called Birdman media which specializes in longboard surf filming. To this day I have created nine longboard, surfing films and filming an array of underground longboard surfers from San Diego to Orange County. I started filming surfing when I was 15 years old And new it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life but figured out the older I got that it wasn’t going to do what I wanted so my dad called it my expensive hobby.

San Marcos is a nice quaint town slowly building and having more residence but still showing that small town vibe.
