Today we’d like to introduce you to The Magic House. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The Magic House was created four years ago in the Mexican Caribbean, precisely in the city of Playa del Carmen, it started as a small electronic music event, where House music strongly predominates in several of its facets. Its beginnings were in a very small place where only 100 people could fit called “Pura Vida” and from the beginning, it created a fantastic relationship with the people who began to fill the party despite the fact that it was on Tuesdays.
Quickly the party was growing, and so it began to circulate in the best spots of the Riviera Maya, with parties in Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Cancun.
In the year 2021, its creator Nelson Cuberli moved to the city of San Diego and began to be held here as well.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road was not always so smooth, we had several circumstances and obstacles to jump, but we were always firm because we are very confident in this project, I think the hardest thing we went through was the pandemic of COVID19 where we had to cancel several events and also when we returned things were complicated, but fortunately all this was left aside.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We specialize in House Music, it is a genre that completes us and we believe it is one of the keys to our operation, all this mixed with an excellent staging plus performances of artists such as dancers or circus characters, but what we like and we are passionate about above all things is the music, and music curation, that will always be above any other aspect.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to us is the musical concept that we bring and that our public takes a beautiful memory of each of our editions and above all, that they have a great time.
