The Media, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The Media Prince was just an idea, an escape, a desire of all things I wanted when I attended college and saw those radio and tv people during my seminars. I never in a million years would ever imagine, I’d become one of those people I saw in my teenage years. I knew I loved this thing called Journalism, what’s funny is not many people know I started in PR. YUP! I was a Public Relations Agent and I had about 7 clients, all while in school. I have my degree in broadcast journalism and PR/Marketing, though I thought I wanted to be a Publicist, my true calling has always been behind the mic, on the camera and on the blogs. I began interning in the position of Staff Writers, Editors and Columnist for various major platforms, but the desire to put on raw talent is what made me create The Media Prince and all its entities in 2015. With having my own brand I got to put on the talents that deserved to be seen. As I reflect though, I have always done media, I was the morning announcements person elementary through high school. So it was destined without me knowing.
I started seeing growth in my career around 2017 and the rest was history. Today I am able to put on talent, discover talent and interview some of the biggest names in showbiz from 50 Cent, Ne-Yo, Taraji P. Henson, Megan Thee Stallion, Common, Chris Tucker and more.

The Media Prince is an Award Winning Entertainment Journalist and Media Specialist showcasing Art of all FACETS throughout the world. Internationally known I am known for my work in showcasing the dopest, most creative work from all areas of art: from fashion, music, politics, athletics, Disk Jockeys, painters, poets, you name it, if there is an art to it, then The Media Prince will cover it. With a degree in Journalism, PR & Marketing and a Minor in Music, The Media Prince holds the bar high in showcasing innovative works that go from Celebrity clientele to Up and coming. Credited with endless writing pieces, my work stems from The Washington Post, HBCU Buzz, Pride Magazine, Blank Canvas Magazine, WKYS 93.9 FM & The UrbanInformer, Currently known in over 25 countries with a following well over 180K , The Media Prince is dedicated to promoting the arts and shedding light on the amazing talents this world has to offer. What sets The Media Prince apart is honestly something I have to give to GOD. I can never put my finger on it, but honestly I show up as me and it works. I do not know if it’s my fashion, my hat’s, my swag, my aura, my work ethic, but once you meet The Media Prince, I am already set apart from others and that’s on Mary Had a Little Lamb and some Jesus! What I am most proud about as a brand, is my continuous strength to keep going and still be here, this media world is cut throat and there are not too many opportunities, but I impress myself by my resilience and that’s what my brand represents and that makes me the proudest beyond the accolades and opportunities.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by SANDRA and Just1PR, LLC and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Just1PR, LLC.
Sandra is my publicist and my day one, we have been through hurdles, cancellation and more cancellation, but we made it through. Together we are unstoppable, the doors and barriers we have been able to make it through only shows where we are going in the future. Having a publicist is a sure help with everything branding and the great thing is I am skilled in the same areas as she so together we get to amplify each other and win.
