Meet Anna Thomas of THE258 in Point Loma

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Thomas.

Anna, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name is Anna Thomas, I was born and raised in Barcelona, studied a Law Degree and 2 Masters, one of them in Advocacy and the other Master in Real Estate Law. I worked as a Corporate and Real Estate Attorney for a couple of Law Firms in Barcelona and decided to move to San Diego about 13 years ago specializing in Legal Document Assistant work and Real Estate.

Ever since I did the Master in Real Estate Law I became very interested in Real Estate. When I first moved to San Diego, I worked doing legal translations and paralegal work, which consisted of helping people create their living trusts. Four years ago I decided to compliment my services becoming a real estate agent.

Please tell us about your business.

In Barcelona, as an Attorney, I was already specialized in Real Estate, and when I moved to San Diego 13 years ago, I first studied a legal translation and interpretation course at UCSD and worked as a legal document assistant, and then became a real estate agent. My specialty is helping clients in Spanish, English and Catalan with their Trust and Probate real estate needs.

Because of my legal background and my connections with lawyers, most of my clients come through referrals from Estate Planning and Family Law Attorneys. In addition to that, other clients come through word of mouth from past clients, repeat clients, investors, and also referrals from CPA’s that specialize in foreign nationals.

Specialty is trust and probate sales – her background as a degreed attorney and doing living trusts it was a natural fit -estate planning and divorce/family attorneys.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
San Diego, California’s second largest city, is accessible via plane, train, and automobile. With the Pacific Ocean to the West and Mexico to the South, it’s a diverse mixture of culture and cuisine, with gorgeous weather year-round. What I like best is the weather, the beaches, the museums in Balboa Park, the neighborhoods, the proximity to Mexico and other cities within the U.S.
