Hi Thuy (Twee), can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved traveling, even back when I was younger. There’s something so exciting about visiting new countries—trying different foods, exploring unique cultures, seeing beautiful nature, and learning history firsthand. I started taking tons of photos and making cute little videos of my trips because I didn’t want to forget those special moments.
That’s really what pushed me to become a travel content creator. I wanted to share my adventures and inspire others to get out there and see the world too. Life is short, and I think everyone deserves a good balance between work and play. I don’t want to look back someday and regret not doing the things I dreamed of.
Through my content, I love showing how to capture travel photos that are not just aesthetic but also meaningful. I share fun videos – sometimes about travel, sometimes about relationship goals while traveling – and I try to uncover hidden gems in every place I visit. I also put together quick itineraries to help my followers explore easily and make the most of their trips.
At the end of the day, my goal is to inspire people to live fully, travel more, and create memories they’ll treasure forever.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. The biggest struggle for me has been balancing everything—working full-time as a Data Scientist, constantly learning new skills to grow professionally, creating travel content on the side, and maintaining relationships with family and friends. With only 24 hours in a day, it’s been really hard to find enough time and energy to do it all well.
Managing my time became a major challenge. Between traveling, filming, taking pictures, editing videos, and keeping up with my full-time job, I often wish there were more hours in the day. Early on, my workflow was slow, and that made it even harder to keep up.
But over time, I learned to work faster and manage my time better. I became more organized and efficient with creating content, which helped me balance my passions with my career. Even though it’s still a lot to juggle, this side hustle has made my life more meaningful. Being able to share my travel experiences and inspire others makes me feel very fulfilled.
So while the road has had its tough moments, the challenges have helped me grow and find a better balance between work and passion.

I am a data scientist, specializing in turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that help businesses make smarter decisions. I focus on building predictive models, automating processes, and creating data-driven solutions that improve efficiency and drive growth.
I’m known for my ability to bridge the gap between technical data work and business needs. I don’t just analyze data – I make sure the results are understandable and useful for different teams, from management to operations.
What I’m most proud of is delivering end-to-end projects—from gathering data from various sources, exploring and understanding the data, to building predictive models and deploying them through APIs. I also create dashboards so stakeholders can easily interact with the results and make informed decisions. It’s rewarding to see the full pipeline come to life and actually drive impact.
What sets me apart is that I’m not just a data scientist—I’m also a travel content creator. I’ve found a way to balance a fast-paced, technical career with a creative passion outside of work. I stay productive, keep learning, and still make time to do what I love after hours. Whether I’m building models during the day, editing travel videos at night, or traveling on the weekends, I believe in living a full, well-rounded life. That balance keeps me energized, inspired, and constantly growing—and I hope it shows others that you really can do both.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that you don’t have to wait for the “perfect time” to do what you love—just start. Whether it’s building a career or pursuing a passion, progress comes from showing up consistently, even when things aren’t perfect. I’ve learned that balance isn’t about doing everything at once, but about making space for the things that matter. When you follow what excites you and take small steps forward, amazing things can happen.
