Tim loves his job. He combines lifelong surfing experience with expert craftsmanship to create some of the best custom surfboards in the world. From world class professionals to weekend warriors, ask anyone who knows him and they’ll tell you the same thing: Tim is more than a shaper, he’s an artist. Over the years, he has united his passion for Art and Surfing, creating something very special- The Artist Series.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
After producing over 50k surfboards over the last 40 years, yes, there’s been a few major setbacks. It usually has to do with the economy. We are not a recession proof business.

We are an artist studio that is dedicated to making the finest art surfboards in the world. Featuring artists such as Andy Warhol. (The father of pop art) Kenny Scharf and Jackson Pollock (the father of abstract impressionism).
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I’m quite happy the way things have turned out. I’m living the dream. Surfing every day, making my art and selling it worldwide.
