Meet Tim Diamond of The Diamond Group in Encinitas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim Diamond.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Tim. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I moved around a lot as a kid and ended up going to four elementary schools, three junior high schools and one high school all in different parts of the city. I think that’s where my passion for real estate grew from bouncing around as a kid and knowing how great it felt to finally get settled and call a place home. It makes me happy to help families with the moving process that I know far too well.

I started in the industry as a loan officer nearly 20 years ago but decided I was better suited to be a realtor so I made the jump to the agent side. Knowing the loan side has given me the unique ability to lead my clients through the entire process.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been a smooth road, but that’s the nature of the beast when starting your own business and I firmly believe that the tough lessons I learned got me to where I am today. I had a mortgage company in the mid-2000’s but when the market crashed, like many others we were forced to close our doors. At the devastating time, but the lessons I learned were invaluable.

A mentor of mine said success leaves clues and I couldn’t agree more. I make a habit of studying industry leaders and pay attention to the things they’re doing to stand out. I believe you can eliminate or more easily overcome future obstacles if you pay attention to what’s going on in the industry and have a desire to learn and grow regardless of the amount of success or experience you have.

Tell us about your business.

Heather offers a strong educational background, including a Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA from San Diego State University, along with a unique multi-tiered marketing approach for every transaction to ensure each client has a fully customized go-to-market strategy to ensure a seamless process whether buying or selling.

Tim and Heather listen to the wants and needs of their clients to make certain they are completely satisfied and see the best possible return on the investment. The pair’s focus on integrity and ethical business practices along with timeliness and responsiveness have helped them gain respect and trust in the industry. What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
