Meet Tracy Turco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Turco.

Hi Tracy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I think I was born to be an entrepreneur. I was the girl at the lemonade stand in high school. I started my own company in college. I started another company for a T-shirt line right after college. I started my own tea room. I’m sold that business came to New York City, started another tea salon, wrote tutee books, published by random house Sold that company open an international tea business in Paris, France, Canada stores in Dubai, and I negotiated them all on my own. I never stop believing in myself or my dreams and reinvented my style year after year. I always had a passion for fashion and a keen I for interior design, I’ve used all my skills and imagination to create a new line of shoes, a new line of clothing a new line of makeup. I’ve created three hotels and brought them back to life and infuse them with a vintage retro style that I’m known for and maximalist design and every detail, and then went off when my husband purchased large building in downtown Palm Springs, I converted that myself into the MODERNISM Museum which there are 20 different vignettes of midcentury culture in a 10,000 square-foot place with a Disco and roller ink it is been voted. It has been touted as the top museum in the United States this year.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The challenges and obstacles I’ve ever faced are also my biggest push to create and use my imagination. For instance, if we just bought a property, and there wasn’t much my budget, I would have to use my imagination and design skills to create them a luxe space for less money and challenges are really gifts in disguise for me because I like being pushed to my limit, God has gifted me my imagination, and I use that in every business I will continue to do so

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an artist, a Designer and Author and Entrepreneur a visionary, and trendsetter; every new business is a different challenge for me that I want to share with the public I hope I’m a role model for young women and just want people to know that it doesn’t matter if you’re 20 years old and just starting out or you’re 3040 or 50 H doesn’t defined you nor does money you defined yourself by leaving your mark on the world with the words, artistic creative or however you make it, and if you don’t like what you’re doing, you could always change it and create a new movie for your own life become the character you the leading actor you want to be in your life you can choose what you want to do in your life and the path you want to, to start to create enter finished

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I always try to support my local communities wherever I am in our great nation. I always support the artists, the animals, the children, the women in the LGBTQ community. I think it’s important that artist and designers collaborate with one another I would love to collaborate with a paint company and choose my own colors that would help people design their houses. I have a great color sense I would love to share it I would love to collaborate with Sacha Labels because I love mixing patterns and vintage style but make it very modern. I support all the local designers, and where are the clothes I just think the world is so vast and amazing and we have so many so much talent, and it’s so nice when we can collaborate with one another and help share our talents together.
