Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmine Hill.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jazmine. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
July of 2017, I made the courageous decision to move across the country from Wisconsin all the way to San Diego after visiting for the first time just two weeks prior. I always knew I wanted to live in California and pursue my passions of modeling and fashion. Since moving to San Diego, I have had endless amounts of opportunities and I am so grateful for where I am now and extremely excited about what the future holds in this beautiful city.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has not been easy at all. Living and trying to survive in San Diego alone can be a struggle on its own but the hardest part for me is being away from all my family and loved ones. Every day, I have to remind myself that all in all, I am essentially doing this for them so that I am able to give them the life that they deserve. My advice to any young woman starting their journey is to be consistent and never give up on their dreams because Passion + Consistency = Success.
What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I am a 22-year-old fashion enthusiast and an aspiring fashion model. I have a fashion blog website www.JustJazmine.com that I have recently started and I am extremely excited about this journey and to grow my brand. I’m most proud that even in the midst of the struggles that life has thrown at me, I still manage to get up after being knocked down and never give up on my dreams and goals. What sets me apart from others is that I am simply me, hence why my blog and brand is “Just Jazmine”.
Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mom is the number one inspiration in my life. She’s strong, independent, loving, caring, giving, and just an all-around amazing woman and mother. I truly don’t know what I would do without her and I hope to be at least half the woman that she is one day.
