Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Bradley.
Jennifer, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started in the summer of 2017 with little idea of how I was going to start my Instagram and my blog. I realized that I loved writing and so, I started my blog. I didn’t want to spend much money on my Instagram or any of my platforms because I didn’t know how things would work out. I researched different aesthetics, different designs, and just the whole idea of blogging and Instagramming. After a year of research, I figured out who I wanted to be.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s definitely not been easy. It’s hard to start a blog and keep up with the posts. I’m still trying to get used to it. Some of my struggles were when I wanted to give up because I doubted myself that this would work out. I’m glad, I didn’t! For you ladies who want to start a career as a blogger/influencer, realize that it’s not going to be 5 minutes and then you’re famous. It takes time and patience. Don’t compare yourself and don’t copy other people.

I’m a teen blogger with 5.3k followers on Instagram and so, I would like to think that I’m kind of an expert on social media. I also have a blog that I like to write in when I have the time! I’m most proud of myself that I can provide content that people think is creative! I definitely think I’m different from other bloggers because I’m a teen blogger. I’m starting this earlier in my life when men/women would start blogging/social media later in their 20’s.
So much of the media coverage is focused on the challenges facing women today, but what about the opportunities? Do you feel there are any opportunities that women are particularly well positioned for?
Yes, of course! I think women can do anything they want to if they have the drive and ambition.
