So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started in the hair industry 16 years ago, I knew I wanted to work with people and I love to make some feel good about themselves. I am a perfectionist to a fault, I love to create a look for someone and have it change their opinion about themselves.
I always tell my clients “ everyone can be beautiful, it just takes a little time and the right look that is designed for your personality and lifestyle.”
I also do airbrush tanning as well. I am a huge advocate for taking care of your skin.
I love to have a bronzey glow it can change your body immediately! It’s the fastest way to feel better about your skin, tone, shape and most of all gives you confidence!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are times where I feel behind in my technique, this business changes quickly!
I try to watch or read 15 to 20 minutes a day on peers who influence trend and fashion.
When times are slow is very scary, we only get paid when we have a client- but our bills still come – right! Then, you must step up to be available at any time for your clients!
Also, go out of your way with customer service and professionalism it will stand out!
Always hustle grind – your clients like it when you are committed to being successful!

I would have to say I’m known for the blonde work. I am a natural blonde, therefore I understand skin tones for natural blondes and people who want to go blonde. Most importantly, I’m known for leaving her with integrity. My great educator once told me “I’ve never met a girl and I didn’t want options so don’t damage your hair and give them none!”
Tanning – I am definitely known for unique bronze flawless application I give to my clients. Also, I am always up to tan!
Do you recommend any apps, books or podcasts that have been helpful to you?
I search the web daily – YouTube is my go-to!
