After graduating from cosmetology school in 2013, I jumped right into the beauty world working full time in the salon. Six years of doing hair has gone by in a blink of an eye because I love my job and coming in to work each day.
Has it been a smooth road?
No! I definitely started from the bottom & worked hard to get where I am now. Find a passion for your industry & you will grow!

I am a hairstylist in the university heights/north park area in San Diego at The Honeycomb Salon. I am a color specialist focusing on blondes and balayage. I love making my clients look and feel their best.
What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
Don’t compare yourself to other hairstylists, just take pride in your work & give every client quality service, they will keep coming back to you. Find a niche that you love (ex. haircuts, blondes, wedding styles) & focus on taking education classes based on that! Take photos of your work to showcase what you can do!
