Ritu, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My life in the US started when my husband and I moved to the US for good.
Work life has always been great from the get-go. I owned a travel agency with offices in India and the US. It was a great business but it kept me at home doing administration work.
So, I had to make a decision. I looked for a career that gets me out of the house and still gives me the flexibility to be able to take care of my kids. Another major requirement was that I wanted a career where I get to dress up.
Weather person was taken so a job as a Realtor was perfect for me.
Real estate sums up my love for homes, staging, numbers, analytics, & statistics.
Has it been a smooth road?
Consistency is key. Giving up sounds really easy sometimes and better. But stick to it and you’ll reach your goals soon enough.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a Residential Realtor. I help dreams come true. They say owning a home is an American dream.
Well, that’s true!
And I help people realize their American dream.
I am known to be an adviser and a consultant; never a pushy Realtor. I have worked with buyers for 3 years and I have worked with buyers who bought the first home they looked at.
My research and analytical knowledge set me apart.
With so many resources available online; a home buyer/seller feels that they are better off without an agent. Statistics show how they are overwhelmed the whole time and they end up spending or losing more money.
I am able to show them how having an agent like me by their side gets them to their next stage and keeps their bottom line intact.
