Meet Trailblazer Taylor Grace

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Grace.

Taylor, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Creating content has always been a passion of mine. At a very young age, I picked up a Polaroid camera and was enamored with the photos I could take, even if they were just pictures of my parents or flowers in the backyard. This love for creating married with my adoration of fashion. From there, it took off into taking photos to inspire people to be creative and to not be afraid to do something different.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are always ups and downs to being a blogger and a content creator. I work a full-time job during the week and take a whole day out of my weekend to create content. Yes, most of the time, I love going out to shoot, but sometimes, I do have lulls of being uninspired. Also, we don’t get paid like Kylie Jenner to post so it’s a passion that I can’t live off of, yet. You have to persevere though! If you truly love what you’re doing and put your heart & soul into it, it will pay off. Patience is key!

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I post and write a lot of lifestyle, beauty, and fashion pieces. By no means do I think I fit solely into one category. What sets me apart is that all of my photos are 100% thought out, composed, shot, and edited to be something different! I’m all about the quality of a photograph. The content I put out is something I’m always proud of!

Finding a mentor and building a network are often cited in studies as a major factor impacting one’s success. Do you have any advice or lessons to share regarding finding a mentor or networking in general?
Most of my work is on Instagram, so I have tons of muses and people I look up to! I always encourage people to interact with the influencers, bloggers, etc. that inspire you. Most of the time they really appreciate the thought and love to help out. Don’t be shy, come say hi! Another important way to network is to go to the events locally. I’ve met tons of amazing people there who I wouldn’t have met otherwise. Break out of your shell and meet some inspiring people!
