Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Albrektsen and Tom Aleo.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tyler and Tom. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Meltdown Productions began when a group of alumni from Platt College SD decided to form their own multi-media design company. The concept was initially the brainchild of CEO and Creative Director, Tyler Albrektsen. However, it was the addition of Art Director Tom Aleo that allowed the company to grow and evolve. The team has numerous designers and artists who have contributed to creative content development over the past few years. Nicolee Quraishy, Jeremy Cobble, Jesse Meza, and Xavier Puentes are just a few of the incredible San Diego artists that lend their skills to the team.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has been littered with obstacles, from finding the right team members, to financing the company, to getting the team’s message out to the public… every day is a challenge but a welcomed one.

Meltdown Productions is a multi-media production company. We have the ability to create a wide variety of digital content for both individuals as well as other businesses. Whether it is a website, logo, 3D model and print…there isn’t really anything we can’t make. Our motto is “Be able to make whatever the client needs”. Our primary focus is on graphic design and 3D modeling for product/toy design. We are known for our 3D printing services and cool merchandise! What truly sets us apart is that we keep everything “in house”, this allows us to ensure fast quality work.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
We at Meltdown Prod. look for individuals who have an independent passion for creativity. We are never seeking to do just the bare minimum, nor do we expect that from our artists. Initiative and creativity are the keys to artistic success and ensuring that one is ALWAYS MAKING SOMETHING! is the most vital piece to the success of our company and artists.
