Rodney, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My sister motivated me to start a clothing line. She actually has one her self Called Brown Skin Poppin. Being an Entrepreneur, I was trying to find different streams of income and one day, I had a 90’s graphic design t-shirt that we made just for fun and she asked me how about you start making your own graphic design t-shirts. And I’ve been making them ever since. So all praise goes to God and my sister. Thank you for the idea 🙏🏽 My ideas are majority 90’s theme. So whatever was my favorite movie/actor or musician growing up, I pay homage to them by making a graphic design shirt or sweater. The whole goal is to pay homage to my favorite actors or musicians.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been pretty smooth so far. I feel like when you’re creative and passionate about something, it’s pretty easy because it’s something you love to do. I’m just going with the flow right now. It’s not a sprint; it’s a marathon… I’m just here for the journey.

My business specializes in Graphic Design T-Shirts and Sweaters. I’m proud of my work. Not to sound cocky or arrogant but I have put out some amazing graphic design t-shirts and sweaters. I feel like they’re very different and creative. VibeswithRodney is a brand that expresses my vibe through fashion.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
My good luck is some new and upcoming mainstream artists and influencers wear my shirt. My bad luck is I’m not where I want to be.
