I have loved photography for as long as I can even remember. I consider myself a visual storyteller. Even though photography is what I do for living, I am very passionate about it.
My schooling was done in design and photography. In 2008, my career started as a visual designer in advertising agency where I used to do branding, tv commercial and print ads. Delivering visuals with results is what I always knew. Knowing how to use composition, shapes, negative space, color, lights is my advantage to truly accomplish visual goals. Hence I love seeing the same through a lens.
After marriage I moved to the US in 2013. With my husband’s support, I started with freelance lifestyle photography and landscape which was displayed in various art exhibitions in San Diego. Soon, photography became my full-time pursuit. Then, I had a shopping spree… lol. Hey, please don’t judge me, I am still a human who loves to shop. Talking about love, I love to spend time with my loving husband, my cute little princess and my sweet little dog. Beach days are my mini vacation, hence I have a special place for San Diego in my heart.
Today, I consider myself as a wedding photographer where I care for my clients immensely as I know I am capturing their most precious day. I tried to tell a story through my photography so when they look at it five years from their wedding day I am sure they will fall in love all over again.
I can say that I love what I do, and I have a passion for photography.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Thank God! I was not alone during my struggles period. I have a loving husband who’s supports made it all go easy.
