Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendy Esparza.
Wendy, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
In 2003, my work took up most of my time. I did not have the energy nor the time to clean my house after a long day. I called a local house cleaning place and when the cleaning people were done cleaning my house, they did a poor job. Right then, I decided what I wanted to do and with the help of a partner, we decided to start America’s Janitorial Service.
I knew I was going to be competing against other businesses offering the same services but I was determined to do a better job at a more affordable cost. I knew my services would lead me to success and make customers wanting more of my services. I did not want to solely concentrate on residential but also local businesses. I knew that a home or a business property that is clean is a healthy and enjoyable place.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We started with a low budget and we did not have enough money to pay for advertisement, the first couple of years of my business I personally knocked on doors to drop off my flyers, it interesting I had some challenging times.
America’s Janitorial Service – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We do Residential and Commercial Cleaning Services, we use green products and we have a good Customer Service, according to our clients. Recently I completed a course with an emphasis on Covid-19.
