We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, entrepreneurship is hardly a smooth road. You make mistakes and pick yourself back up. The biggest struggle when starting a business is staying true to your philosophy and believing in yourself. If you do not believe no one else will.

Zaneta Owens is an emerging handbag company. We specialize in handmade leather handbags that have unique patterns and details made in California. Our proudest moment is being featured in VogueUK February 2019 Issue for the Designer profiles. We feel the company has come a long way and we see the growth.
What were you like growing up?
I was into sports and always spending time with family. I have four younger sisters, so we were always getting into something or going somewhere. I love the outdoors and hiking all over San Diego and California!
