Today we’d like to introduce you to Zina Alahmad.
Zina, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Straight out of high school, I’ve always wanted to go to beauty school but my father being a traditional man, said that this wasn’t a degree and wanted me to go to college, which I did finish with a communication degree with an emphasis on journalism. Finally, after about 10 years of wanting to go to beauty school, I finally achieved what I’ve always wanted to and got licensed as a California esthetician, and a certified makeup artist working in the field I’ve always desired. I’m hoping on the day to open up my own spa to be able to exercise my capabilities in the skincare field
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It wasn’t at all smooth. I never knew going back to school while being a mother was this hard. Luckily, I had huge support from family to help me out with her and be able to finish what I started

My business which I’ve named for now Belle By Z, meaning beautiful by Z (as in being Zina) I specialize in skincare and makeup artistry by helping to bring out one’s natural beauty.
What were you like growing up?
I’ve always knew what I wanted and tried my best to fight and get what I want. I’ve always had a passion for overall beauty and fashion. I love being a trendsetter, in clothes or makeup styles.
