Axel Cramer

I grew up in Ocean Beach, and am a 5th generation San Diegan. I attended Point Loma High School, then went to UC Berkeley where I got a B.A. in mathematics with a minor in music. While I was at Cal, I started Thought Lounge (TL) as a club with the aim to foster the practice of intentional, in-person dialogue on campus, and because it took hold there and was adopted at a couple other universities, when I graduated, the TL leadership team and I turned it into a nonprofit, fundraised, and I was able to make it my full-time gig.
