Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my artistic journey as an art major in college. After earning my Associate’s Degree in 3-D Design and Sculpture I decided to obtain my manicurist license after working in the spa industry for over 5 years. I fell in love with clean beauty and felt that nails were a way to combine both my passion for art and self care.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a business is never easy, and there’s never a “good” time to do it. I built my clientele while working 40 hours a week at a day spa and then taking clients in the late evenings at my own salon space. Exhausted is hardly enough to describe how I felt, but I steadily grew as a business and that made the hardwork worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in vegan, cruelty-free natural nails and nail art. All of my products are 21-free, meaning free of many of the chemicals you typically find in nail products and they are completely fume-free! All of my nail art is hand painted and I thrive on precision and clean work. Ask any of my clients, they’ll tell you I’m the best ;).
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I typically get booked out 2 months in advance so I do recommend booking out 3-4 appointments minimum to make sure your nails stay beautiful! I am always taking new clients.
