Rising Stars: Meet Gabriel Le Blanc of San Diego

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriel Le Blanc.

Hi Gabriel , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story began as a teenager who was into all things health related that included major interest in living a raw food lifestyle, juicing, detoxing, superfoods & becoming the best version of myself. At the same time, I found myself drawn to alcohol consumption & partying. So I was a walking paradox. The alcohol became a habit that would shape years of my life. There was a tension of wanting to grow into the best version of myself that was blunted by my alcohol consumption, & I struggled through that from my teens to adulthood.

As years progressed, I became dependent on alcohol for confidence. I’m also a musician, & back when I formed my band The Chocolate Revolution here in San Diego, I would rely on drinking heavily before getting on stage to feel “good”. This turned into me using alcohol as a coping mechanism for everything to dating, easing stress, life’s pressures & eventually, it became a habit I couldn’t ignore.

Around October-November of 2020, I decided that I wanted to do things different the following year of 2021. So I dedicated 1 year of sobriety starting January 1st of 2021 & I’ve been Alcohol-Free ever since. I decided that I would pursue my life long dream of becoming a certified Health Coach. Something I’ve wanted to do since I was 16. But something more amazing happened to me during that first year of sobriety. I started to feel a pull or nudge to attend church. Why this shift happened was beyond me at the time but as time went on, the pull got stronger. All things Faith related that I would see while driving, on social media, & in peoples conversations began to become highlighted to me & I was quietly drawn to all things about Jesus & Faith. December 2021 comes around & I finally said “All right Gabriel, you’re going to attend a church service the first Sunday of January.” And I did which became a pivotal moment in my life.

The moment I walked into that church service & the worship team started to play, & hearing the sermon afterwards, it all made sense & I felt like I was home. That year I got saved & baptized at Awaken Church San Diego & I am now apart of that worship team & I am so grateful to serve & it’s been a big part of my Faith life. I believe that letting go of alcohol was crucial for me to hear & be led by God. The alcohol was always a barrier & created static in my life, especially mentally. Now I walk with peace knowing who I am & whose I am.

These experiences laid the foundation of my coaching & brand, LIVING PROOF, a coaching experience designed to take people from having “zero proof” of the life they want, to LIVING PROOF that it’s possible. It’s based on scripture “Walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7. It’s about lasting transformation that reshapes your mindset, habits, & the way you show up everyday. Through practical strategies, mindset training, & Faith based principles, I help clients gain confidence, clarity, purpose & control over their lives becoming the person capable of achieving the goals they’ve only dreamed of.

LIVING PROOF isn’t about doing more, but rather becoming. Nike says “Just Do It.” But I say “Be It.”

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges had been imposter syndrome & feelings of unworthiness, questioning whether I was truly qualified to lead, to be seen as a thought leader, or to take up space in the industry that i’m in. Doubt would creep in & try to convince me to stay small.

What kept me moving forward was my Faith. A defining moment for me was something my pastor Rex Crain once said: “You’re never what you feel, you’re always what you decide.”

That truth helped me stop letting doubt dictate my direction. I would constantly tell myself “I’m LIVING PROOF that Jesus still moves through people. I’m an overcomer. My calling is bigger than my doubts. I walk in Kingdom authority.”

Basically reciting Faith declarations out loud & in my mind everyday. Choosing to anchor my identity in my Faith, rather than feelings. This allowed me to keep moving forward, even when fear or uncertainty showed up.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in helping people clear their head & get back to themselves. A lot of people feel stuck & scattered without knowing why. My work focuses on identity & faith-led transformation, changing how people think, letting go of habits that don’t serve their highest good (often alcohol), & start living with more confidence, peace & direction.

I’m known for helping people rewire the way they think. Once the mind changes, everything else falls into place.

I’m proud of the work because it helps people lean on Faith when confidence isn’t there yet.

What sets my work apart is that I take people from zero proof to the life they want to LIVING PROOF that it’s possible. I don’t operate in labels or do surfaced level coaching built on tips & tricks. My work is rooted in Faith, practical & centered on renewing your mind. When the way you think changes, everything else follows.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I’ve found that having a mentor who has done the thing that you want to achieve, is mandatory. You need someone who has walked a similar path. This collapses the years it would take to figure it out on your own into months. It’s like a little cheat code but you get the real life experiences from them & the blueprint to how they created their success. A good mentor should speak life & victory into you, give honest & practical feedback based on their wisdom, & most of all, believe in you & your vision. That’s what my mentor, Karolina Rzadkowolska, an Author & Alcohol-Free Life coach, did for me.
