Hi Goktug, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My family has been in the food industry over 100 years. So i was born into it. I went to Culinary school in America and started my American journey. I worked in several restaurants and now i am a Chef influencer doin recipe videos on social media
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Its never smooth if you want to get somewhere. But i enjoy all the struggles. Being in a different country, culture and a Language was the biggest struggles. But its been 17 years in America. So i feel more American now.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a certified Chef currently doing social media cooking videos. I specialized in baking and pastry but i learned the world cuisine in culinary school. I use my Turkish background in my cooking. Blending Turkish spices and cooking techniques with world cuisines dishes set me apart from others.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Before i start being a chef influencer. I didnt even know how to take pictures. But now i kinda have to capture every moment of my life.
