Today we’d like to introduce you to Ivy Moran
Hi Ivy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I graduated from San Diego State University in 2021 with a major in Communication Studies, navigating a challenging time during the pandemic. Despite the uncertainty, I was fortunate to land a job in Hillcrest with a digital marketing company. Within six months, I advanced to Communication Coordinator, supporting a global team of over 40 people. Taking on big projects has always been a passion of mine, and much of my digital marketing knowledge is self-taught. I constantly took online courses to deepen my expertise. In early 2024, I founded In.terest Marketing, and now I’m incredibly grateful to lead a talented team. We serve clients across the West Coast, and I’m excited to continue expanding!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey wasn’t easy. Growing up in a small town, Palm Desert, in a single-parent household, and entering the professional world in such uncertain times was challenging. I was fortunate to land a job that taught me so much and gave me the foundation I needed. With the skills I gained, I was able to build my own digital marketing agency!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in digital marketing on Meta and Google, focusing on keyword identification, budget management, and key metrics like CPC, CPM, conversions, and web clicks. I’ve led a team of over 40 employees, managing an annual ad spend of $2 million.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I believe the digital marketing landscape is set for incredible growth over the next 5–10 years, and I’m excited to be part of it! Having worked extensively with influencer marketing, I’ve seen firsthand how this new era of marketing has transformed the field—something unimaginable just 10 or 15 years ago. It feels like we’re only scratching the surface!
