Hi James, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
When I was 24 years old, a well known “medium” from the UK told me that I was going to work as a medium and change the consciousness of the planet in two years. I thought he was crazy. But, I started to meditate because the things he told me about the Spirit World and my deceased relatives were incredible. Two years later to the day, I was filling a contract at a job, when I looked over at a co-worker and saw her dead grandmother behind her – communicating to me telepathically. This UK medium took me under his wing and developed my mediumship abilities. Eventually, I started doing meddages and the word got out. I was booked for private sessions months and even years in advance. Then, television producers noticed me, and I began the television journey. I was on every major news, entertainment and talk show in the country. I was a regular guest on Larry King Live, appearing on the show 9 times. My first book, TALKING TO HEAVEN, was hailed as the miracle of publishing and went from an initial printing of 6,000 to 600,000 in over a month. The book was a number one New York Times Bestseller and has been printed in over 50 languages. I am c0nsidered the pioneer in the modern mediumship movement.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My evidence (names, places, events from the Spirit world) was so accurate that skeptics thought I was reading people’s faces and made up all theories about my ability. I joked on Oprah’s show that I had a line on all the computers in the world.
